Offer Evaluation
A real offer is more than its headline budget. Use this collection when a brand has proposed specific work and you need to decide whether to accept the direction, request clarification, counter, or decline. Before assessing value, verify the sender in Inbound Offers & Verification if the message is unexpected or incomplete.
Lay Out the Actual Proposal
Write down the brand and product, deliverables and platforms, timeline, fee and payment terms, required approvals, revisions, usage rights, and any exclusivity. Mark unknowns rather than filling them with assumptions. Evaluate sponsorship rates after an inbound offer is one lens, but price alone cannot tell you whether the work is feasible or the rights are acceptable.
Decide What Must Be Clarified
Ask whether the proposal fits your audience, whether you can deliver it as scoped, and whether you understand how the brand may use the work. The inbound deal negotiation scenario shows why questions often precede a counteroffer. If several details are missing, request them before making a commitment; a vague offer is not an obligation to quote a price.
Choose the Next Route
Use Negotiation & Counteroffers when you know exactly which terms to change. Use Deal Scope, Payment & Delivery to test whether the work and payment milestones are workable. Decline if a required condition cannot be met; an assistant cannot approve the offer on the creator's behalf.
