Rates, Pricing & Rate Cards
A creator rate is a starting point for a defined piece of work, not a universal price attached to follower count. This collection helps you build a reusable pricing rationale and a rate card before or alongside conversations with a brand. If you already have a specific proposal with a budget and terms, evaluate that actual offer rather than assuming your baseline settles the deal.
Define the Work Before the Number
Write down what you would create, where it would appear, who produces it, and the expected timeline. How to set sponsorship rates provides a place to begin; the UGC pricing framework is more relevant when the brand will use your content as an asset. Format and production effort matter, but usage rights, exclusivity, revisions, and rush timing must not disappear into one unexplained figure.
Package a Rate You Can Explain
Use an influencer rate card to show a clearly defined base deliverable and which items require a separate discussion. Check whether your audience and performance evidence supports any value claims. When comparing a spreadsheet, template, or assistant, use the pricing tools comparison to decide how you will maintain the assumptions; a tool cannot certify a market-clearing price.
Adapt the Baseline to a Real Offer
A brand's proposal can change the scope, required rights, or payment timing. Move to Offer Evaluation for the full proposal and Contracts, Rights & Exclusivity for specific permissions. A rate card is an explanation of your starting terms, not acceptance of any offer or a promise of income.
